Is this the finger of God?
I am not saying that it is, or that it’s not.
It’s interesting that it, along with the stifling heat over the USA, occurred right after the Supreme Court Decision upholding Obama Care which legally subsidizes the killing of the unborn, passed.
If you are interested in finding out if this was God’s finger, or just another weather phenomena, ask Him.

No, it is not the hand of God and this is why I’m confident in saying so: we don’t live under the Old Covenant; we live under the New Covenant of grace and mercy. Remember when Christ sent out His disciples and the sons of thunder came back and told Jesus that the town ahead was unwilling to accept Him? They asked Jesus if they should command fire from heaven to judge them in old-fashioned “Sodom and Gamorrah” style; Christ was appalled at their ignorance…Jesus Himself said, “I came not to condemn the world, but that through me the world might be saved”. We as Christians get angry; God is not angry now because He took out all of His anger and judgement on Christ. There will be a time when judgement will return, but not until the harvest is complete.
I look at it this way: It is raining outside. God is not causing the rain…Lucifer is causing the rain. Christ is our umbrella and rainsuit; in Him we have protection. If we decide to walk in the rain and get wet by not wearing our rainsuit and brandishing our umbrella…then we will get wet! We don’t blame God for the rain, and we don’t blame God that we get wet! If we leave the protection of God, then we put ourselves at risk of getting drenched in the storm of the devil.
People need to understand that God is not in the business of judgement today; if He were, then Jesus surely would have said so! Plus, we would have to crucify Jesus over and over and over again if God’s wrath upon the cross was insufficient.
Again, there will be a time of judgement upon the earth for those who rejected the Christ, but that time has not yet come. But I’m sure the devil just loves when we blame God and give credit to Him for the awful things that happen in the world. He is a crafty fellow and is doing a great job in negating the grace and mercy that Christ bestowed upon the earth. Whenever we give credit to God for Satan’s work, we do the liar a huge favor!
